EPL: Giggs reacts after Ten Hag sanctioned Man Utd transfer for 26-year-old star

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs, has labelled Aaron Wan-Bissaka as one of the best defenders in the Premier League following his recent transfer to West Ham United.

Giggs said this after Man United manager, Erik ten Hag sanctioned the 26-year-old’s transfer away from Old Trafford this month.

Ten Hag decided to allow Wan-Bissaka leave Old Trafford following the arrival of new defenders Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

Speaking about Wan-Bissaka, Giggs said the player is very difficult to play against.

“I would’ve stayed away from him, especially later on in my career,” Giggs told the Webby & O’Neill YouTube channel.

“I would have tried to take him places he didn’t want to go because, one on one, I think he’s one of the best in the league. Over the 90, he’s very tough to play against.”
