Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has approved the dissolution of the cabinet after a valedictory meeting held today at his office in Uyo, the state capital.
The commissioners and special advisers have been directed to hand over to their permanent secretaries or the most senior director where there is no permanent secretary.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government , Prince Enobong Uwah stated that the governor has expressed appreciation to the outgoing members of the state executive council for their state.
Almost all the commissioners were inherited from the previous administration.
