Early Voting At Eguare Primary School, Esan West

Voting commenced early at Eguare Primary School, Wras 2, Ujugba, in Esan West LG in the ongoing governorship election in Edo State.

Voters are conducting themselves orderly and queuing while a few unarmed men of the Nigerian Police were on hand to monitor the process.

At the location with three polling units of 2, 3 and 11, voters said the process commenced exactly at 8:30am due to the early arrival of INEC staff with materials.

“We are in peace and order to elect the next governor,” a voter said.

A police man watching the process said, “So far, so good, everything is in order. No incident here.”

“Even as the rain began to fall, voters continued to troop out to cast their ballots and were enthusiastic about the process It’s going on smoothly,” Eugene, an elderly woman said while moving to get accredited to vote.
