The Kano Emirate is mourning the death of Alhaji Idris Dankabo, the District Head of Kabo and Sarkin Gabas of Kano, who died in a road accident on Thursday night. He was 48 years old.
His passing was announced by the Kano Emirate Council through its official “Sanusi Dynasty” Facebook page.
Alhaji Idris was the eldest son of the late Alhaji Muhammad Adamu Dankabo, the renowned businessman and philanthropist who founded Kabo Air in 1980.
Alhaji Idis was buried on Friday in Kano after funeral prayers led by the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Dr. Muhammad Sanusi II, at the Emir’s palace.
