CHAN: Why Sudan thrashed Nigeria – Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle

Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, has suggested why Sudan thrashed his Team B 4-0 in their 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN encounter on Tuesday.

Chelle watched as Kwesi Appiah’s men defeated the Super Eagles B team, sending Nigeria out of the tournament.

Goals from Leonard Ngenge (own goal), Walieldin Khedr, and Abdel Raouf (2) secured Sudan’s victory over Nigeria.

Recall that Chelle’s side had lost 1-0 to Senegal in their first game last week.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Chelle admitted that Nigeria made a lot of mistakes against Sudan.

“We did a lot of mistakes and we gave up the game in the second half,” Chelle said.

“Four goals, four mistakes. We did a lot of mistakes in these two games [Senegal and Sudan].”
