CHAN: Results of all match-day one games

Matchday One of the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, delivered thrilling results over the weekend, with host nations and heavyweights kicking off their campaigns across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The 2024 CHAN is currently taking place across five venues in four cities spread across three co-hosting nations: Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The 19-team tournament kicked off on 2 August and will end on 30 August.

DAILY POST brings you the results of all match-day one.

On Saturday, Tanzania defeated Burkina Faso 2-0 in the first game of the tournament.

On Sunday, Kenya won 1-0 against DR Congo, while Morocco defeated Angola 2-0.

Also on Sunday, Madagascar played a 0-0 draw with Mauritania.

Meanwhile, other CHAN Match-day One games will be played later today.

Niger will face Guinea, while Uganda will tackle Algeria.

On Tuesday, Nigeria will clash with reigning champions Senegal, and Congo will face Sudan.
