BREAKING: Court Stops Federal Allocations To Rivers State

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has barred the Federal Government from releasing allocations to Rivers State.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik gave the order on Wednesday while delivering judgment in a suit filed by a factional Rivers State House of Assembly, led by RT Hon Martin Amaewhule.
The court further restrained the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from allowing the state to draw funds from the consolidated revenue account.
