The Federal High Court, Abuja, has dismissed a suit filed against former Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Ishaq Modibbo Kawu, over an alleged abuse of office and money laundering to the tune of N2.5bn.

Justice Folashade Ogunbanjo-Giwa in a judgement on Thursday dismissed the suit filed by the Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), against Kawu and Dipo Onifade for lacking merit.

The ICPC had in their amended 5-count charge, accused the duo of misappropriation of N2.5bn, meant for the Federal Government Digital Switch-Over (DSO) programme.
