Be Worthy Ambassadors – Otti Charges Abia Pilgrims

The Abia State Government has called on the Abia State contingents embarking on the 2025 Hajj to Saudi Arabia to embody the true spirit of the pilgrimage

Prof Kenneth Kalu, Secretary to the Abia State Government, gave the charge when he, on behalf of the State Government, received the Abia contingents for the 2025 HAJJ in his office.

He advised them to be good ambassadors of the state as they embark on the journey to the Holy Land.

The SSG encouraged them to approach the Hajj with a deep understanding of its significance and spiritual benefits and called on them to continue to pray for the sustained peace and unity of the State and Nation.

Earlier in his speech, the chairman of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Ali Ukiwo, thanked God for the governor’s love for the Muslim community and assured him that they will not betray the confidence reposed in them.

He thanked the Governor, Dr Alex Otti, for his gracious approval and support that made the journey to the Holy Land possible.

Also speaking, the leader Northern Community, Abia State, and the leader of the 2025 Hajj contingents, Sarki Yaro Danladi, expressed joy that the dream has come true, adding that they will continue to pray for the state and the nation and remain worthy ambassadors of the state.
