APC chieftain responds to El-Rufai’s comments on defections

Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s recent comments on governors who have joined the ruling party.

Alawuje urged El-Rufai to focus on constructive engagement within the party and highlighted the importance of unity and cooperation among political leaders.

He acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s role in shaping the APC and guiding its political strategies, noting the party’s continued efforts to strengthen governance and national development.

Alawuje encouraged all members and leaders to prioritize statesmanship, collaboration, and forward-looking initiatives for the benefit of the party and the nation.

The APC chieftain also extended well-wishes to El-Rufai and reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu’s leadership, emphasizing the need for collective effort in advancing the country’s progress.
