The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, has hailed Governor Umo Eno of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over his inclusive governance and visionary leadership.

Speaking on Monday during the commissioning of the haemodialysis unit and the Accident & Emergency Wards at General Hospital, Ikot Ekpene, Ntukekpo lauded the governor for his inclusive and visionary leadership, which is spreading life-changing projects in the state.

He said that the governor’s projects, such as the healthcare facilities being commissioned at the General Hospital, would significantly improve the welfare of the people.

“Let me use this opportunity to commend the performing governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno. It is truly heartening to witness a leader who delivers on his promises,” Ntukekpo remarked.

“Since assuming office, the governor has implemented projects and programmes that have positively impacted the lives of our people.

The grassroots are thriving. His projects demonstrate his deep love for the people of the state. Without this genuine care, such transformative We pray that God continues to strengthen him as he brings succour to our communities.”

Prince Silas Ekpo, a community leader in Ikot Ekpene, said, “This latest endorsement from a leading figure of the opposition shows the people-centric approach of Governor Umo Eno’s administration,” adding that it reinforces the governor’s commitment to inclusivity as outlined in his ARISE Agenda.

Ekpo said, “This recognition of the governor from across the political spectrum confirms that his word remains his bond in improving the lives of Akwa Ibom’s citizens.”

Recently, some founding members of the APC accused the party chairman of working to weaken the party, adding that he was executing a plan allegedly orchestrated by a top official of the party at the national level.

The chairman of the party could not be reached for comment at the time of this report.
