Air Peace has introduced a revamped boarding system to enhance passenger convenience, professionalism, and comfort.

The new arrangement prioritises boarding for military personnel, passengers with wheelchairs or special needs, and business class travellers.

This is according to a statement signed on Wednesday by the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Ejike Ndiulo.

The airline announced the move in Tuesday’s release, stating that the changes are part of a broader push to elevate service standards and reinforce a culture of care and efficiency.

“At Air Peace, we understand that time and comfort matter deeply to our passengers. This new boarding policy is designed to reduce congestion, enhance orderliness, and ensure that our customers enjoy a smoother start to their journeys,” said the CEO of Air Peace Limited, Allen Onyema.

According to Onyema, the policy also reflects Air Peace’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and respect for service. “By honouring military personnel and attending to passengers with mobility needs first, Air Peace reinforces its respect for service and accessibility,” he said, emphasising that business class travellers will also benefit from expedited boarding, aligning with the premium experience they expect and deserve.

The updated boarding protocol is one of several initiatives the airline is rolling out as part of a transformation agenda aimed at delivering a refreshed service culture across its operations.

“This development is part of a broader transformation toward a refreshed service culture. Air Peace is committed to delivering excellence at every touchpoint, from check-in to landing, and this new boarding system is just one of many enhancements underway,” he added.

Air Peace currently operates the largest fleet in West and Central Africa, servicing a robust network of domestic, regional, and international routes. Known for its focus on safety, hospitality, and world-class service, the airline is positioning itself as a leader in the African aviation industry.

Looking ahead, Air Peace says it will continue to implement innovations that simplify and improve air travel. The company is also planning to expand its fleet, introduce additional long-haul routes, and strengthen Nigeria’s footprint on the global aviation map.

“As Air Peace continues to expand its fleet and routes, passengers can look forward to further innovations that make air travel easier, more convenient, and more enjoyable for everyone,” the statement read.
