AFCON 2025 qualifier: Lookman named MOTM in Super Eagles’ win over Benin Republic

Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match following Nigeria’s 3-0 victory over Benin Republic on Saturday.

The Atalanta winger scored twice in the thrilling encounter played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Lookman gave the Super Eagles the lead late in the first half from a brilliant solo effort.

The 26-year-old then scored the third from a header eight minutes from time.

He was in action for the entire duration of the game.

Lookman has so far scored eight goals in 24 appearances for Nigeria.
