Azubike holds a BSc in Banking and Finance, an MBA in Management, and an MSc in Finance, which equipped him with solid academic foundation to complement his extensive professional expertise.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Chartered Institute of Credit Administrators, and a Member of the Canadian Securities Institute, Azubike got his footing in finance and administration at Catholic Relief Services where he began his career as Finance Assistant.
He later joined Zenith Bank Plc, where he spent nine impactful years, making significant contributions to the institution’s operations and growth.
Azubike worked with the Royal Bank of Canada, broadening his international exposure and expertise in financial services, and upon returning to Nigeria, joined the VFD Group in 2016, where he spearheaded several strategic initiatives, including serving as Managing Director of VBank, one of Nigeria’s leading digital banks.
Under his leadership, VBank achieved remarkable milestones in financial technology and customer acquisition, solidifying its position as a market leader.
Azubike also held the position of Managing Director at Anchoria Asset Management, where he oversaw fund management and investment strategies, delivering exceptional value to stakeholders.
In the real estate sector, Azubike also demonstrated his innovative leadership as Managing Director of Herel Global, where he successfully executed profitable real estate projects across Nigeria and beyond.
