ACAMB To Host Stakeholders On AI Digital Banking

The Association of Corporate and Marketing Communications in Banks (ACAMB) announced on Wednesday that it has finalized plans to host its 4th National Stakeholders’ Conference.

The summit is aimed at examining the relationship between artificial intelligence and public trust in the evolving financial services sector.

The conference is titled “AI & the Future of Trust: Reimagining Banking and Financial Services in a Digital Age.”

The association said the event will bring together senior banking executives, financial technology innovators, regulatory officials, and artificial intelligence experts to discuss the responsible deployment of AI in enhancing innovation, financial inclusion, and consumer confidence.

ACAMB President, Rasheed Bolarinwa, described the gathering as a crucial intervention at a time when both regulatory and technological dynamics are reshaping the banking space.

“As AI revolutionizes banking, the question is not just about adoption, it is about how we harness it to rebuild trust in an increasingly skeptical digital landscape,” Bolarinwa said.

He added, “This conference is a clarion call for collaboration. We must ensure that AI serves as a bridge, not a barrier, to financial inclusion and integrity. Together, we will redefine what it means to be a trusted financial institution in 2025 and beyond.”

The conference will also feature a keynote address by Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and Managing Partner at Verraki Africa, who will explore the tension between innovation and accountability in a rapidly digitized economy.

Expected panelists include Mr. Yonodu Okeugo, General Manager of Business Banking and Partnerships at a microfinance bank; Dr. Harrison Nnaji, Chief Information Security Officer at First Bank Nigeria; and Mr. Dele Adeyinka, Chief Digital Officer at Polaris Bank.

Founded in 1996, ACAMB serves as the umbrella body for communications professionals in Nigeria’s banking industry.

It engages in policy advocacy, stakeholder dialogue, and capacity building to foster ethical practices and narrative shaping across the financial sector.
