Abia Assembly Screens, Confirms Nominees For State Electricity Regulatory Agency
The Abia State House of Assembly on Tuesday screened and confirmed the appointment of members of the Abia State Electricity Regulatory Agency. The screening exercise took place during an executive session of the House held at the Speaker’s office, while the nominees were confirmed during Plenary.
The members of the agency include:
- Mr Onyegbule Emeka Raphael – Chairman/Chief Executive Officer.
- Mr Ikowu Ukwu – Executive Director
- Mr Iheanyi Iñe Eze – Executive Director
- Mr Onwuegbule Kareem Eberechukwu – Non-Executive Director and
- Dr Joy Otti – Non-Executive Director.
They are expected to be inaugurated at a later date by Governor Alex Otti.
The House later adjourned to reconvene on Tuesday, 6th May, 2025, at 10:00 am.
