22-Year-Old Launches Talent Show To Spotlight Undiscovered Creatives

An emerging music label, NOKT Records, is turning up the volume on grassroots talent with the launch of its inaugural flagship event, Voice of Hope.

The free-to-enter talent show seeks to discover and support gifted individuals from underprivileged backgrounds by providing them with a platform to showcase their abilities and potentially launch professional music careers.

The event will be held at JJJISA Event Hall, opposite Dunamis Junction, Kuje Area Council, on July 5th, 2025. Registration runs from June 1st to June 30th, 2025.

NOKT Records was founded in 2020 by 22-year-old Evans Onoriode Kwaku Boasiako, a British-born entrepreneur of Ghanaian-Nigerian heritage who draws inspiration from his Urhobo roots in Delta State, Nigeria.

The “Voice of Hope” competition welcomes solo artists and groups across all musical genres, with participants required to be 18 years or older.

Winners will receive substantial prizes, including pre-recording contracts, cash awards, and free beats produced by the label’s CEO, while attendees and participants will receive complimentary meals, drinks, writing materials, and gift items.
