2027: APC France chapter backs President Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket

By Omeiza Ajayi

The France Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has endorsed the President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima joint ticket ahead of the 2027 general election.

Diaspora chapter chairperson, Hajia Amina Suzuki, in a statement, said after a critical appraisal of the administration’s performance, particularly in steering Nigeria through complex economic headwinds, the chapter is convinced that President Tinubu’s courageous and reform-driven leadership has set the nation firmly on the path of sustainable growth and long-term prosperity.

The statement added that the bold economic reforms initiated under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda have begun yielding tangible results.

From stabilizing public finances and repositioning the oil and gas sector, to driving investment inflows and restoring international confidence in Nigeria’s economy, the signs of a steady turnaround are unmistakable.

She stressed that these decisive measures, though demanding, have laid a solid foundation for national recovery and inclusive development.

“As Nigerians in the diaspora, we closely monitor global economic indicators and investor sentiment. Nigeria’s economic narrative is changing for the better. The resilience demonstrated by this administration, alongside its commitment to infrastructure development, social investment, security enhancement, and youth empowerment, stands as proof of purposeful governance,” the statement stated

She noted that Vice President Kashim Shettima’s steadfast support and strategic coordination in driving policy implementation further reinforce their confidence in their leadership.

The chapter stated that the duo has demonstrated competence, vision, and the political will to transform Nigeria into a stronger, more competitive nation.

“In view of these achievements, the APC France Chapter has resolved to mobilize massive support for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima ahead of the 2027 elections. We are committed to returning home in our numbers to actively participate in grassroots mobilisation, voter education, and strategic engagement to ensure a resounding victory at the polls.

“Nigeria is on a journey of renewal. This is not the time to retreat; it is the time to consolidate progress. Continuity in leadership will guarantee stability, deepen reforms, and secure the gains already recorded.

“We therefore call on all Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027 to sustain the momentum of national transformation”, the party added.
