2025 U-20 WC: Flying Eagles to battle Norway, Saudi Arabia, Colombia in Group F
In what promises to be a challenging group stage, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been placed in Group F for the upcoming 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, where they will face Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.
The group stage opponents were confirmed following the conclusion of the official draw held early Friday morning in Santiago, Chile.
Given the diversity in their opponents’ playing styles, many fans and analysts have described Group F as balanced yet tough, which has increased anticipation for the competition.
To secure a place in the knockout stages, the Flying Eagles—renowned for their flair and tenacity—will need to be at their very best.
Elsewhere, South Africa, champions of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, have been drawn in Group E alongside France, New Caledonia, and the United States. Morocco, the U-20 AFCON runners-up, find themselves in a difficult Group C with five-time champions Brazil, Mexico, and 1999 winners Spain. In Group A, Egypt will take on hosts Chile, Japan, and New Zealand.
