Wolves head coach Rob Edwards would not rule out a potential exit for Jorgen Strand Larsen in the January transfer window when asked about the player’s future.
The Norwegian striker grabbed a hat-trick and provided an assist on Saturday afternoon as Wanderers beat Shrewsbury Town 6-1 in the FA Cup at Molineux.
Jhon Arias, Rodrigo Gomes and Tolu Arokodare also got on the scoresheet to send the Midlands outfit into Monday’s fourth round draw in emphatic fashion.

After starting Strand Larsen on the bench in each of the previous four games, Edwards praised his performance while leaving the door open to a possible move away this month. The 25-year-old has been linked with West Ham United, Spurs, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
“He’s really pleased,” Edwards said after the final whistle. “He’s working hard, his attitude has been great and he understood why he hasn’t started the last few games.
“His commitment has never waivered. He was brilliant today in everything he did.
“He keeps saying to me how committed he is and how he wants to help us turn this around. While we are in the window there is always going to be speculation because we have got some good players.
“I haven’t said that (Strand Larsen will not move in January). I just said that every good player we have at the moment, there will be interest.
“If it’s right for the football club we will see, but at the moment there is nothing to talk about. He is showing his commitment to the football club.”
