Michael Olise has no plans to leave Bayern Munich this summer, despite enquiries from Liverpool in recent weeks.
Liverpool have identified Olise as their dream target to replace Mohamed Salah, who is ‘increasingly likely’ to leave Anfield in the summer amid a decline in performances and interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Olise has established himself as one of the world’s top talents since leaving the Premier League to join Bayern Munich.
The ex-Crystal Palace player has 10 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga this season, with no player across Europe’s top five leagues having created more goals.
Liverpool are understood to view Olise as ‘the perfect fit’ for their side but are aware of the difficulty in prising the Frenchman from Munich.
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Olise is happy at Bayern and has no plans to leave despite ‘fresh enquiries’ from the Premier League champions.
