Carrick set to hand Santos Man United debut against Wrexham

Andrey Santos has been included in the Manchester United squad to face Wrexham on Saturday.

Manchester United begin their pre-season campaign against Wrexham in Helsinki this weekend. The clash with the Championship side is set to see a debut for Santos, following his £50m transfer from Chelsea earlier this month.

Santos has been selected in the squad, though fellow recruit Youri Tielemans will be granted a period of rest, having represented Belgium at this summer’s World Cup.

Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Bryan Mbeumo are among the senior names in a youthful squad.

Goalkeepers: Tom Heaton, Radek Vitek, Dermot Mee.

Defenders: Harry Maguire, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Ayden Heaven, Harry Amass, Jaydan Kamason, Dan Armer.

Midfielders: Mason Mount, Andrey Santos, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Toby Collyer, Dan Gore, Jacob Devaney, Jim Thwaites.

Forwards: Joshua Zirkzee, Bryan Mbeumo, Chido Obi, Ethan Wheatley, Shea Lacey, Ethan Williams.
