Brentford XI vs Crystal Palace – Predicted lineup and team news

Brentford travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday in superb form, aiming for a third consecutive Premier League victory.

This confidence comes after impressive recent wins against Manchester United (3-1) and league champions Liverpool (3-2). Furthermore, they are going to the match after a morale-boosting 5-0 win in the Carabao Cup midweek.

Manager Keith Andrews’ side is playing with huge belief, especially in attack. In fact, the Bees have scored in their last six away games. Additionally, Brentford won both league fixtures against the Eagles last season. Therefore, they will be looking to secure another positive result in this London derby.

Brentford team news

Brentford head to Selhurst Park with a strengthened squad. Manager Keith Andrews confirmed some positive news on the injury front. First, Yehor Yarmoliuk has recovered from the contact injury that forced him off against Liverpool.

Additionally, defender Aaron Hickey is available again after overcoming an issue picked up on international duty. Midfielder Jordan Henderson is also fit. He was merely rested as a precaution for the midweek cup tie.

However, the team will be without Benjamin Arthur. He is sidelined with a minor knee injury from the cup match. On a positive note, he is expected to return to training next week. For now, he joins Josh Dasilva and Antoni Milambo on the list of absences. Milambo is ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ACL injury.
