Bournemouth have drawn a firm line over Alex Scott’s future, informing Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United that the midfielder is not for sale this summer.
The Cherries recently rejected a fresh approach from Arsenal, TEAMtalk reports, and remain determined to keep one of their brightest talents.
The response has been identical to each suitor. Manchester United and Liverpool received the same message before Arsenal, with the club unwavering despite the calibre of interest.
Bournemouth simply have no intention of selling. Scott’s contract situation strengthens their hand.
The 22-year-old is tied to the Vitality Stadium until 2028, and the club are now preparing to open talks over a new long-term deal.

Reports suggest any extension could include a release clause, potentially setting a future exit on their own terms.
His valuation reflects a remarkable rise. Signed from Bristol City for around £25m in 2023, Scott is now rated anywhere between £60m and £80m after a breakthrough campaign.
The England Under-21 international made 37 Premier League appearances last season, missing just one game.
The timing suits Bournemouth’s ambitions, too. The club have qualified for the Europa League for the first time in their history, and under new boss Marco Rose they see Scott as central to that campaign.
Having already lost their manager and Antoine Semenyo’s departure looming large, another key exit is unwelcome.
The interest is easy to understand. United missed out on Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham and continue to hunt midfielders, while Arsenal want depth behind Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice.
Liverpool, meanwhile, retain admiration through Andoni Iraola, who worked with Scott on the south coast.
For now, though, the Cherries hold all the cards. Only an offer well beyond their valuation would prompt any reconsideration, and even then, a new contract remains their clear priority.
