Nothing special about Edochie – Esther Sky advises May to drop Yul’s surname

Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, popularly known as Esther Sky, has reacted to the ongoing Edochie family drama, advising May Edochie to drop her estranged husband Yul Edochie’s surname.

This advice follows the recent feud between May and Yul’s brother, Linc Edochie’s new wife, Yinka, who leaked personal phone numbers online, further intensifying the family’s conflict.

In a viral video posted on Instagram, Esther claimed that Yul’s family, including Nollywood actress Rita Edochie, was united against May.

According to Esther, May Edochie has made a name for herself and no longer needs to associate with the Edochie name.

She said, “With all due respect, drop Yul Edochie’s name, so that there would be peace. Even if your documents are associated with May Yul Edochie, go to court. You are winning right now, there’s nothing special about the name. Post online, give us your new name.”

Esther added, “The family has planned against her. All Yul Edochie’s siblings and brothers have been bought, because if they’re not discussing something about Queen May behind closed doors, the new wife wouldn’t come online and drag Queen May for no reason.”

She further criticised veteran actor Pete Edochie for remaining silent amid the ongoing family drama.

She said, “I’m calling out Pete Edochie. Pete Edochie, sir, with all due respect I’m calling you to put a stop to this madness going on in your family, you are the one to put a stop to this, enough is enough.”

Here are some reactions below:

@marysilver said, “I dey feel you my dear.”

@full_moon said, “Rita Edochie is on Linc side and his new wife, so queen May be careful with mama Rita.”

@bianca457054 commented, “Judy wants to be the best daughter in-law, she has used Yinka to the highest level.”

@bosskid447 wrote, “She should not drop it, doing so will give Judy peace.”

@corazonlation said, “If the sons are doing this, then the father is also questionable. I wonder what their mother has gone through.”
