Nigeria’s premier entrepreneurial reality television show, Betano-The Next Titan Nigeria, is set to premiere its 11th season on major television networks across the country, with a grand prize of ₦50 million for the winner and runners-up.
The new season will premiere on October 3 on DStv Africa Magic Family, and on October 4 on TVC Entertainment, HipTV and Silverbird Network.
The 10-week entrepreneurial reality show will bring together young entrepreneurs from across Nigeria to compete in a series of business challenges, innovation tasks, strategic decision-making exercises and real-world execution scenarios.
With the support of Betano, the title and lead sponsor, alongside other strategic sponsors and partners, the organisers said Season 11 promises to deliver a competitive and impactful experience for viewers and contestants.
Betano-The Next Titan is an entrepreneurial reality show designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a platform to compete for a grand prize and other rewards to start new businesses or support existing ventures.
Beyond the competition, the organisers said the programme aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit among Nigerians and promote entrepreneurship as a viable career path for young people.
The show identifies young talents with promising business ideas and the right attitude to demonstrate their entrepreneurial abilities, while showcasing their journeys to millions of viewers.
It also highlights the challenges and successes associated with entrepreneurship, combining business education, competition and entertainment to give viewers an insight into the realities of building and running a business.
At the opening ceremony, 20 finalists were unveiled from the 75 contestants who made it to the Bootcamp stage.
The 20 finalists will move into the Titan House for the 10-week competition, where they will participate in business tasks, innovation challenges and mentorship sessions, alongside weekly eliminations leading to the emergence of the Season 11 champion.
The organisers said the programme has, for more than a decade, served as a platform for identifying and nurturing entrepreneurial talent in Nigeria.
According to them, its combination of education, competition and entertainment has helped encourage young Nigerians to embrace innovation, business ownership and self-reliance.
The organisers also acknowledged the support of Betano and other sponsors and partners, including Cadbury, Sun King, Arik Air, Nigerite, Veritasi Homes, GIGM, Jojo & Co., and others.
They said the investment by the sponsors and partners reflects the growing role of corporate partnerships in supporting youth development and economic inclusion in Nigeria.
The organisers invited Nigerians to follow the new season, describing Season 11 as a platform for discovering ideas, nurturing innovation, creating opportunities and celebrating entrepreneurship.
