Nigerian singer Chike has narrated a recent encounter he had with a bully from his secondary school days.

The music star said his former bully called him “big bro” during the encounter, despite being older than him.

The proud singer shared this with his fans on X on Sunday.

He wrote, “Person weh de bully me lowkey for school just call me big bro. By the way, e senior me.”

His post did not sit well with some X users, who described it as “classist.”

Reacting, Chike said, “Classism not the point. Rest.”

Several Nigerian celebrities, including Tiwa Savage, Tems, Kizz Daniel, and Taymesan, have in the past spoken about being bullied while growing up.
