Nigerian content creator Kofanki has opened up about her unusual experience with Valentine’s Day, revealing that she has never given or received any Valentine’s gift due to not being in a romantic relationship.

According to Kofanki, true love goes beyond romance and should reflect unconditional care and commitment toward loved ones. Although she is currently single, she noted that she expresses genuine love toward her parents, siblings and close friends, stressing that affection should not be limited to romantic partners alone.
Speaking on Valentine’s Day traditions, she argued that the celebration originally embraced all forms of love but has gradually shifted toward focusing mainly on romantic relationships. She encouraged people to use the occasion to celebrate love among family members, friends and other meaningful relationships in their lives.
