I can’t marry non-Christian – Omowunmi Dada

By Ayo Onikoyi
Nollywood actress, Omowunmi Dada, has revealed that sharing the same Christian faith with her partner is non-negotiable, stressing that she wants to build a family united by faith, values and shared beliefs.
Dada stated this during an interview with VJ Adams, where she spoke about her expectations in a relationship and the kind of family she hopes to build.
“My deal breaker in a relationship is if you are not a Christian. We won’t even start. I want to be able to hold hands with my husband and speak in tongues in one faith as a family.
“I want a family that is built on unity, in faith, on everything and in values,” she said.
The actress also discussed her experience working on the movie Moremi, revealing that the role pushed her beyond her comfort zone.
“The movie Moremi stretched me. I had to learn how to box,” she said.
Dada further disclosed that she enjoys cooking for her friends, describing it as an expression of love.
“I love to cook for my friends. Cooking for me is like a show of love. I don’t really like eating. Maybe it’s because I grew up with three older brothers. I cooked a lot.
“Growing up, when I cooked, everyone eats. So, I like communal eating as opposed to cooking for myself,” she added.
