BBNaija: Your peace call not convincing – Nomy tells Tram

Tram and Nomy BBNaija

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 11 housemate Nomy has said she is not convinced that fellow housemate Tram was sincere in his call for them to “squash their beef”.

Tram recently pulled Nomy aside for a heart-to-heart conversation, telling her he wanted to move past their previous volatile history and even suggesting she align with the “right side” of the house because the next five weeks, according to him, would be “hell”.

“You’re feisty, just like me. We’re very similar. We’re very stubborn. I feel like maybe we could be really good friends but I find it impossible because I naturally never find the will to explain myself just like you do,” he said.

However, Nomy told him he was irrelevant to her rather than hated.

Other housemates speculated that Tram’s sudden peace offering was a strategic move related to other house dynamics.

Tram and Nomy’s rocky relationship has been marked by explosive arguments since earlier in the season, going from minor banter to deeply personal clashes.

The explosive feud between them peaked around Week 2, resulting in a series of deeply personal and near-physical altercations.

Their most volatile clash took place in the house salon. Tram repeatedly sprayed air freshener near Nomy.

Annoyed, Nomy retaliated by spraying it back, directly hitting Tram’s eye. The two hurled heavy insults at each other, forcing Biggie to blast music over the house speakers to drown out the noise and de-escalate the physical tension.

After the salon drama, the argument turned into a massive war of words regarding their lives outside the house.

Nomy claimed Tram was bitter because he had made romantic advances toward her and she rejected him. She added that he was “not on her level” and needed to move from the Mainland to Lagos Island before approaching her.

Nomy implied Tram was financially struggling, but Tram countered that he moved away from the Island purely for privacy. He further mocked Nomy’s accent, questioning why she had an English accent if she claimed her travels were to Paris.

Nomy told Tram he was only in the house “due to luck” and brought up his father. Tram retaliated by mocking Nomy’s age, telling her she was “pushing 30”. He weaponised her audition history, pointing out that she spent five years praying to her pastor just to get into the Big Brother house.

The tension also divided other housemates. Nomy confronted fellow housemate Temi for staying physically intimate and friendly with Tram despite knowing how deeply she and Tram clashed, putting their house loyalties to the test.
