Three-horse race looms as APC picks candidate tomorrow

Ademola Adeleke has announced a free concert in Osogbo, featuring his son, B-Red, and several other music acts from within and outside the state.

In a post shared on Wednesday via his X handle, Adeleke said, “Osun, this free concert is for each and every one of you. I am delighted to have my son @B_RedHKN, his friends in the entertainment industry, and exciting upcoming musical acts from across Osun bringing the vibes home!”

A promotional poster released by the governor listed performers expected at the event, including Peruzzi, CDQ, Fido, Shina Peters, May D and Sina Rambo, among others.

The governor described the concert as inclusive and non-partisan.

“This Get Out to Vote Concert is for everyone in Osun State — Accord, ADC, APC, LP, PDP — no political divide, just pure Osun energy!” he said.

Adeleke added that the event will hold at the Technical Field in Osogbo on Friday, April 24, with free entry for residents.

He urged residents to attend, saying, “Come out, groove, and let your voice count!”

The announcement comes days after the governor appointed his nephew, Davido, as Head of Youth Mobilisation for his re-election campaign ahead of the 2026 Osun governorship election.

Davido in a post on X on Tuesday wrote, “I have been appointed by the Governorof OSUN STATE @AAdeleke_01and flag bearer of the ACCORD PARTY 01 as HEAD YOUTH MOBILIZATION OF CAMPAIGN COUNCIL! We look forward to a smooth campaign and you RE – election your EXCELLENCY! 4+4”
