NPFL: Ikorodu City coach rues draw against El-Kanemi Warriors

Ikorodu City head coach Ali Kandil has disclosed the reason for his side’s failure to beat El-Kanemi Warriors.

The Oga Boys were held to a goalless draw by El-Kanemi Warriors at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Sunday.

Kandil believed that his team’s lack of intensity in the first half made the game difficult.

“We lacked intensity in the first half. It’s a tough result to take,” Kandil confessed.

“It’s always hard to play against teams that play mid block and low block.”

Ikorodu City will hope for an improved performance in their next match against South West rivals Shooting Stars.
