Transfer: Jackson takes decision on leaving Chelsea
Chelsea striker, Nicolas Jackson has decided not to leave the club this summer transfer window.
According to a report by The Guardian, the Senegal international prefers to remain at the Premier League west London club and fight for his place amid recent competition in the team’s attack line.
Jackson’s future at Stamford Bridge has remained a subject of speculation in recent weeks.
This follows the recent arrivals of attackers Liam Delap and Joao Pedro to Chelsea.
Chelsea have also expressed willingness to sell the 24-year-old attacker this summer if they get a reasonable offer for him.
However, Jackson doesn’t seem to be keen on leaving Enzo Maresca’s side this summer despite recent interest from several clubs.
Jackson has netted 30 goals and provided 12 assists in 81 appearances since joining Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023.
His current contract with Chelsea will expire in June 2033.
