The representatives of Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana have offered the defender’s services to Barcelona.
Fofana has endured a difficult spell at Chelsea since signing for the club from Leicester City in a £70m deal in 2022.
The Frenchman has started only 43 league games across four seasons at Stamford Bridge, which have been punctuated by multiple major injuries, including an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
According to Sky France, the player is now keen on a fresh start. Fofana’s agents have offered his services to Barcelona and the defender’s profile appeals to the Spanish side.
However, Barcelona’s preference is for an initial loan deal with an option to buy, while Chelsea are keen to offload Fofana permanently.
The West Londoners have set an asking price of at least €30m (£26m) for the 25-year-old, a figure that looks beyond Barcelona’s reach.
