Cote d’Ivoire will now host the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Championship instead of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

The annual competition was scheduled to hold in Nigeria next month with the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, and Remo Stars Stadium as designated venues.

The WAFU B council has now moved the competition to Cote d’Ivoire.

WAFU took the decision following the ongoing renovation works at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

Renovation work at the ground started this week.

The WAFU B U-17 tournament will run from September 11 to 25, 2025.
