WAFCON: Top celebrities to perform for Super Falcons at Eagles Square

The National Sports Commission, NSC, has confirmed that there will be a live concert on Monday night to honour the Super Falcons.

The concert which will be held at the Eagles square will start at 7pm.
Top celebrities are expected to perform to the delight of the team and the fans alike.

The Super Falcons defeated Atlas Lionesses of Morocco 3-2 in a thrilling final contest at the Olympic Stadium, Rabat on Saturday night.

The players, and their officials arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday afternoon.

They were received on arrival by Governors Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Uba Sani (Kano), and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara) as well as other top dignatories.

Members of the public also came out in large numbers to cheer the team on their arrival from Morocco.

They will also be hosted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock later today.
