Folashade Ijamilusi is looking forward to making her maiden appearance for the Super Falcons at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

Ijamilusi, who plays in the Chinese Women’s Super League for Liaoning Baiye is one of the surprise inclusion in Nigeria’s squad for Morocco 2024.

The former Edo Queen said she is grateful for the opportunity.

“I’d say I feel grateful to be among the team and since it’s my first time, I’m blessed,” she told the Super Falcons media.

The Super Falcons will be gunning for a record-extending 10th title in the competition.

Ijamilusi is determined to help the West Africans achieve their objective.

“My expectation is to have a good outing with the team and also win the WAFCON by God’s grace,” she added.

The striker scored a hat-trick for the Super Falcons on her debut in a friendly against Algeria last year.
