UCL: Real Madrid stun Man City, Juventus defeat PSV

Real Madrid pulled off a sensational 3-2 win over Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League knockout play-offs on Tuesday night.

This was the fourth consecutive season the two teams will play each other in the competition.

In all three of those previous fixtures, the winner has gone on to win the trophy.

At the Etihad, Erling Haaland gave City the lead in the first half, despite Madrid dominating the game.

But Kylian Mbappe drew Los Blancos level with a scruffy volley past Ederson.

Haaland restored the lead for the hosts from the penalty spot, after Dani Ceballos fouled Phil Foden inside the box.

With City looking to win the game, Carlo Ancelotti’s men struck twice through Brahim Diaz and Jude Bellingham to take control of the tie.

In other games, Juventus defeat PSV 2-1 in Turin, while Borussia Dortmund won 3-0 at Sporting.

Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Brest 3-0 in the early kick-off.
