UCL Playoffs: Club Brugge favourites to beat Rangers – Dessers

Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers claimed Club Brugge are favorites going into tonight’s UEFA Champions playoff first leg tie, DAILY POST reports.

The Light Blues will host the first leg at the Ibrox.

Russell Martin’s side defeated Viktoria Plzen of Czech Republic 4-2 on aggregate in the previous round.

Club Brugge impressed in the UEFA Champions League last season, recording a famous victory over Manchester City.

Dessers admitted that it will be difficult to overcome the Belgian Pro League.

“I think it’s clear that Club Brugge are the favourites. They’re a team that did well in the Champions League last season,” Dessers told HLN.

The overall winners will earn a berth in the group stage of the competition.
