UCL: Behave yourself – James Maddison tells Real Madrid midfielder after win over Atletico

Tottenham Hotspur star, James Maddison has sent a very funny message to Real Madrid attacking midfielder Jude Bellingham following the Los Blancos’ UEFA Champions League 4-2 win penalties shootout win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Real Madrid entered the encounter with a 2-1 victory from the first leg last week at Santiago Bernabeu.

However, they were defeated 1-0 by Atletico Madrid after 120 minutes as the both legs ended in a 2-2 draw aggregate at the Metropolitano Stadium.

But it was Carlo Ancelotti’s side who advanced the quarter-final after beating their local LaLiga rivals on penalties after Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Antonio Rudiger all scored from the spot.

Julian Alvarez’s kick was controversially ruled out by VAR, as the Argentine touched the ball twice.

Following the win, Bellingham shared a photo of him scoring from the spot via his Instagram page.

His post prompted a comment from Maddison, who is an England teammate with Bellingham.

“Daisy cutter in to the bottom bin. Behave yourself,” Maddison wrote.

Real Madrid will now face Arsenal in the Champions League last-8 next month.
