UCL: 4 Arsenal, 5 Real Madrid players facing suspension ahead of second leg

At least four Arsenal players are facing suspension ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg at Real Madrid.

They are Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli.

If any of the quartet picks up a yellow card at the Bernabeu, they will be suspended for the first leg of a potential semi-final clash.

For Real Madrid, five members of their squad are walking the same disciplinary tightrope.

Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Antonio Rudiger, Endrick and Lucas Vazquez would be banned if they pick up a booking.

Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is also a yellow card away from a touchline ban.

The yellow cards slate will be wiped clean after the quarter-final stages.

Arsenal lead the tie 3-0 from the first leg at the Emirates and will be looking to progress into the final four, where they will play Paris Saint-Germain.
