Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face Cote d’Ivoire in a double-header friendly next week, DAILY POST reports.

The first friendly is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 February, while the second will take place two days later.

Both matches will be played in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side are expected to depart Abuja for Abidjan on Monday, 24 February.

The Flying Eagles were initially set to face Egypt in a double-header friendly, but the fixture was cancelled after both countries were drawn in the same group for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Cote d’Ivoire will host the U-20 AFCON from 26 April to 18 May.

All four semi-finalists in the tournament will qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in Chile.
