Turkey: Osimhen relishes Galatasaray’s big win over Eyupspor

Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen has talked up Galatasaray’s big win over Eyupspor, DAILY POST reports.

Okan Buruk’s men thrashed their hosts 5-1 at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Sunday.

Osimhen contributed one goal and an assist in the victory.

Galatasaray maintained their five-point lead over Istanbul rivals, Fenerbahce following the win.

The holders top the standings with 80 points from 31 matches.

“I’m very happy because we won. Winning this match was very important. We needed more points. I’m very happy to have contributed with one goal and one assist.

“I’m also happy for Morata,” he was quoted by SPOR.

Galatasaray are looking to win the title for the third consecutive season.

They are also in the final of the Turkish Cup where they will face Trabzonspor.
