Zambian Super League club Zesco United have opened talks with Shooting Stars defender Ayodeji Bamidele.

Zesco United have reportedly offered the centre-back a two-year contract, according to sources from Zambia.

The 26-year-old was a regular feature for Shooting Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.

Bamidele previously played for Croatian club HNK Rijeka.

The player is eager to test himself abroad once again.

He also has international experience, having represented Nigeria at U-17 level.
