West Bromwich Albion are determined to retain Josh Maja amid reports linking the forward with a move away from the club.

Maja is currently the second-highest scorer in the Sky Bet Championship, with 12 goals to his name.

The 24-year-old has attracted interest from Spanish clubs Celta Vigo and Valencia.

According to The Express & Star, the Baggies are unwilling to part with their talismanic forward, especially with the arrival of new owners.

Albion are pushing for promotion to the Premier League and consider Maja a key player in their campaign.

They are currently sixth in the league and within the promotion playoffs bracket.
