Paul Onuachu looks set to join Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor on a permanent transfer, DAILY POST reports.

The Black Sea Storm pushed hard to sign the Nigeria international on a permanent transfer last summer after  an impressive loan spell in the 2023/24 season.

Onuachu was on target 15 times in 21 league appearances for the former  Turkish Super Lig
champions.

Trabzonspor have  now agreed a €8m fee with Southampton for his permanent transfer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

They are now  negotiating personal terms with the Nigeria international.

The move is expected to be made official once Onuachu completes his medical.

Southampton signed the tall hitman from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk in January 2023.
