Transfer: Super Falcons star, Abiodun moves to NWSL club, Washington Spirit
Super Falcons midfielder, Deborah Abiodun has joined National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side, Washington Spirit.
The 21-year-old penned a three-year contract with the option of another year.
Abiodun linked up with Washington Spirit after leaving Pittsburgh Panthers.
The Nigerian scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 34 appearances for the Pitts.
“I’m beyond thrilled to take this next step in my career by joining Washington Spirit,” she told the club’s official website.
“This isn’t just a dream; it’s a purpose I’ve poured my heart and soul into and I’m ready to give everything I have to the game I love.”
