Transfer: Super Eagles goalkeeper moves to Greek club, FC Volos
Nigeria goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has linked up with Greece Super League outfit, FC Volos, DAILY POST reports.
Adeleye, who joined FC Volos from Cypriot First Division club, Enosis Neon Paralimni signed a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old was in action 30 times for Enosis Neon Paralimni last season.
The goal tender previously played in Israel before making the switch to Cyprus.
Adeleye featured for two Israeli clubs, Hapoel Katamon, and Hapoel Jerusalem between 2019 and 2024.
FC Volos finished in 11th position in the Greek top-flight last season.
On the international scene, Adeleye has represented Nigeria once.
He was dropped from the Super Eagles squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
