Transfer: Sesko demands release clause in Arsenal contract

RB Leipzig striker, Benjamin Sesko, is reportedly demanding that Arsenal insert a release clause in any contract they will offer him.

Sesko’s camp is believed to have already agreed personal terms with the Premier League club ahead of a potential summer move.

However, according to Football London, the 22-year-old is now asking to have an exit clause in the deal.

Leipzig are expecting a £68.5 million transfer fee and if agreed upon, the release clause could be around 20% higher than the fee Arsenal pay.

Sesko enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 campaign, finishing with 21 goals including four in the Champions League.

Arsenal have been interested in the Slovenian international since last year, when he decided to remain with the Bundesliga team for one more season.
