Transfer: Onuachu gets heroic welcome ahead move to Trabzonspor

Nigeria forward, Paul Onuachu has arrived Turkey ahead of his permanent transfer to Trabzonspor, DAILY POST reports.

The Nigeria international got an heroic welcome upon his arrival at the Trabzonspor International Airport on Wednesday night.

Onuachu’s permanent transfer to the Black Sea Storm is expected to be made official on Thursday (today).

Southampton announced last week Friday it has reached agreement with Trabzonspor for the player’s transfer.

The 31-year-old is returning to familiar territory after impressing on loan at Trabzonspor during the 2023/24 season.

Onuachu scored 17 goals in 25 appearances during that spell.

He will become the club’s second signing of the summer following Joaquin Pina’s arrival.
